Best mechanic in Boulder. As a mostly DIY car owner I hardly trust anyone with my vehicle but John’s is my first choice when an issue arises. This shop is receptive, competent, and provides an unmatched customer experience. They’ve made small oversights in repairing my vehicle in the past but have always made the issue right. The labor is pricey at times but you get what you pay for.

They fixed my old truck that had been sitting for 5 years. They showed what was needed now, and what could be done later. Then Henry (at the front desk) even fixed my key fob for free.

I took my car to John’s for a 60,000 mile service and was very happy with my experience there. The staff is professional and thorough and I will be happy to return and recommend them to others.

Job well done

I recently had some more extensive repairs done at John’s auto care. I am very pleased with the quality of work and the honesty of what my car needed/didn’t need. Henry was very helpful and worked with me to determine what was best for my vehicle. John’s is the only mechanic I’ve ever been to where I feel like they are not trying to sell you something or rip you off. They actually care about your cars well being!

Good work, pleasant people

Very kind and caring staff. They gave me a ride to work after I dropped off my car and were very honest about its condition. Instead of pressuring me to get repairs, they let me know that my car had reached its end and my money would be better spent on a different vehicle. While my car did not receive any work from them outside of an inspection, I will certainly be bringing my new car to them once I have it. Highly recommend for their customer care if nothing else!
