I'm so happy I finally found an auto mechanic I can trust. I knew what was wrong with my Mini Cooper after multiple estimates and BS from several mechanics who were charging outrageous amounts for add ons that didn't need to be done. John diagnosed the problem perfectly without any add ons or extra charges and was 10% lower than any other estimates. Fixed it on time and it runs perfectly! 6 stars out of 5!
John's auto care was very nice to deal with. Did inspection since I was not in the cue - I thought we were scheduled. - took me back under lift and pointed out where the head gaskets were wet with oil and the steering gear and boot were wet with fluid. What they missed was a torn passenger side cv boot and how the car had been in a front end collision the right headlight replaced (new lens)and the front uni-body pulled back out. Radiator not correctly fastened in.The passenger fender was replaced and a liner for wiring harness not installed correctly and belt cover missing. My regular mechanic said I should ask for my inspection fee back. Thank you Intermountain Subaru.
I just came in for an air conditioning problem that no one seemed to be able to solve. John and his technicians spent all day figuring out and tracing the problem until the air was once again blowing cold. Thanks to John’s, I am no longer miserable when driving around in the summer heat! Awesome service and people!

I have been taking both of my cars to John for about 5 years. Last week I brought one of my cars in and found out it was going to cost almost $2000 to fix (compromised head gasket). Being that its a 15 year old car with a lot of miles, we chose not to do the work. I won't bore you with the details, but John treated me more like a nephew than a customer. He gave me his honest opinion. I decided to do something different and he still didn't charge me for the hour of labor. I think it was because he truly saw how tough the situation was for me. Anyone in Boulder would be crazy to trust anyone else with their cars! Thanks John!
